This 2 page paper 'A Step Towards Digital Democracy' focuses on a small sub-set of ideas from our wider document Transforming our Democracy and Political System for the 21st Century, taking advantage of technology to enable approaches that weren’t possible even 10 years ago. 

It is based on recognising that at the moment the general public have:

• no means of registering their opinion at individual Government policy level
• no effective inward channel to input unsolicited ideas to Government to influence policy development, unless they belong to a political party or lobby group
