Agenda - The Environment, Agriculture, Food and Fisheries
How well do we manage each of these areas?
Is our approach to each sustainable in the long-term? How will climate change affect this? How will population growth affect this? How will technology affect this? How will the International situation affect this?
What are the bodies involved in managing these areas? How good are they?
How self-sufficient do we need/want to be? What constraints are there on this?
Have we got enough land to do what we want? What is the right balance between agriculture, housing, commercial use, forestry, water resources, greenbelt, infrastructure, leisure and open space?
What actions do we need to take for a sustainable future?
