jeanne davis shared Tony Clack's idea. I would support all the objectives listed . Not all of course could be achieved in the same time frame, but life skills should certainly be a major component of the curriculum.

I couldn't believe we had missed it when you raised it and it was only when reading through the list a second time that I realised it was tacked onto the back of no. 2 in the list about STEM subjects. I think I must have lost a paragraph break. It's the bit that starts 'Teaching them critical thinking.......'. Does that cover what you had in mind sufficiently?

That's strange, I missed that part, (old age setting in) yes, pretty much, although from what I understand the majority of teachers simply do not understand critical thinking to the degree that they can actually teach it...
